Less than 1 Day
One Hour, 90 Minutes
Led a 90-minute breakout session for TedX Baltimore on The Power of Storytelling. 65 attendees.
Led a 1-hour breakout session for Baltimore Business Journal Expo on Creating the Perfect Pitch. 37 attendees.
2 Hour Workshop
Led 2-hour workshops with several Baltimore tech and small business incubators introducing storytelling techniques and structures to help them attract talent, investors, resources, and partners. From 9-16 attendees. Some were sponsored and others paid by participants.
3 Hour Professional Development
The Maryland Transportation Authority needed 3-hour professional development workshops for managers and supervisors.
Subject matter: Personal branding and elevator pitching. 2-year engagement with 10-12 participants.
Half Day
The president of a small private liberal arts college, needed to differentiate their mission and message.
He asked me to facilitate a half-day working session with senior staff and faculty and get them to “…agree on anything, for once. If you can do that, I’ll be grateful.”
Day & a Half Program
Maryland Institute College of Art, Business Art & Design graduate program needed day
and a half residencies to help graduate students with personal branding, elevator
pitches, and to prepare for formal pitch competitions with investors.
Twice a year for 7 years.
Between 8-22 students for each residency.
2 Day Retreat
Worked with leadership to create and facilitate a two-day retreat with the Theater Department faculty at the University of Iowa to reimagine, energize and modernize their mission to meet the needs of an evolving department and a rapidly changing marketplace.
23 participants with different agendas and perspectives about the mission and the purpose of theater united around the new mission and value proposition.
